Performance Feedback
In order to obtain maximum achievement as a teacher, it is important to receive feedback from your superiors and students. Dr. Lisa J. Goodnight, the basic course director for Communication 11400 at Purdue University Calumet and my direct supervisor, observed me teaching on September 17, 2012. On that particular day, I engaged my students in a lecture of Chapter 7: Creating a Positive Communication Climate, an interactive classroom activity, and a Communication and Techonology discussion. It is also important to receive feedback from our students. I value their feedback because it gives me insight into what aspects of class they particulary enjoy and those that are not as interesting and could be altered. In the drop box menu I have included Dr. Lisa J. Goodnight's observation as well as feedback from student evaluations and student's reflections on their experiences within my Communication 11400 class.
