Rock, Paper, Scissors
I believe in a Democratic teaching approach that gives my students the ability to voice opinions on many assignments throughout the semester. For example; I do not assign the days that my students present their Informative and Persuasive Speeches, I allow the students to volunteer for the days that they would like to present. There are several instances when there are to many volunteers, and a fair method of selection is for the students to play Rock, Paper, Scissors. The game is quick, fun, and gives the students a few laughs throughout the process.
